During the DC Digital Download This! panel, at New York City Comic Con, DC Entertainment announced its new comic book series Mortal Kombat X. This series is currently in development by NetherRealm Studios and to be published by Warner Bros. The series will be written by Shawn Kittelsen with cover art done by Ivan Reis while interior art content will be done by Dexter Soy. This comic book series is to make it’s debut in January 2015.

Along side of this upcoming series Mortal Kombat fans have more to look forward to as Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming Mortal Kombat X game is set to release on April 14th 2015. The game calls players back to the deadly tournament for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
